Navigation in the Specific Sea Areas for Traffic Safety
Where the chief of a coast guard station deems it necessary to secure safety in navigation when a large vessel, a hazardous cargo carrier, a high-speed passenger vessel and any other vessel specified by Ordinance of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) intends to travel through a specific sea area for traffic safety, he or she may issue an order to the shipmaster or shipowner regarding the following matters: change of the timing for passage, change of fairways, restriction on navigation of vessels, limits on speed, use of a pilot vessel and other matters specified by Ordinance of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
