1. Transport vessels proceeding into and out of Port Novorossiysk from the area of anchorages No408,410 conforming to sailing circumstances and conditions, may pass 6-10 cbl. off the coast by the shortest distances. Therewith vessels of less than 20m long shall not impede transport vessels traffic.

2.The area is the safety zone of the oil terminal mooring berths, navigation is permitted when authorized be VTS only to vessels proceeding to and from the oil terminal mooring berths and to auxiliary fleet vessels servicing them.
To transit through Area the lane is established between parallels of 44 deg 39 min 12 sec N and 44 deg 39 min 42 sec N for vessels proceeding along the coast. Navigation through the lane is carried out with the permission of the PSSI of Port Novorossiysk according to Article 2.7 of the Rules of Navigation within the Port Novorossiysk VTS Operation Zone.

3.Vessels proceeding from area to berths of Port Novorossiysk transit to Novorosskiyskiy Leading Line through free aquatorium, conforming to navigational situation in the anchorage areas by permission of VTS Post.
    In some cases vessels may proceed to Port Novorossiysk along Kabardinskiy Leading Line and hence through the free aguatorium of the Area No414 being granted the permission of Vessel Traffic Control Post.

4. The area is a Safety Zone of Sheskharis Oil Harbour in which unauthorized navigation of vessels of any size, rowboats including, is prohibited. Navigation in the area is permitted only when authorized by the VTS Centre to vessels proceeding to the oil terminal berths or leaving them as well as vessels of auxiliary fleet servicing them.

5. Carriers proceeding to Port Novorossiysk from the anchorage area No416 and back from port, taking into account the circumstances and conditions of navigation, may proceed between Part 1 of the Traffic Separation Scheme and the coast.

6.The area is the place of burial ground of the victims of the steamer "Admiral Nakhimov" loss (1986). The area is prohibited to bottom gear fisheries, undersea activities, blasting operations, navigation with the cable veered out, diving operations with divers and submersibles, as well as any activities disturbing the peace of burial ground.

7.Area temporarily dangerous to navigation. It is dangerous to navigation for the period of dangerous operations conduct. Navigational warnings on dangerous operations are broadcast 3-5 days in advance before the commencement of dangerous operations and repeated each next scheduled time until these operations are over.

8.  Hydrofoil traffic routes pass through the recommended track within this stretch. When navigating within the stated stretch of the given recommended track all vessels should exercise extreme caution.

9. Vessels proceeding into Novorossiyskaya Bukhta from RT No11 enter the traffic separation scheme as follows:
- when proceeding from NW - in position 44 deg 32,73 min N; 37 deg 47,70 min E; bearing 38 deg
- when proceeding from SE - in position 44 deg 31,18 min N; 37 deg 51,70 min E; bearing 0 deg
   Vessels leaving Novorossiyskaya Bukhta and entering RT No11 proceed from the traffic separation scheme through RT No84 to position 44 deg 33,93 min N; 37 deg 44,63 min E

10. When anchoring or trawling in the vicinity of a pipeline mariners should bear in mind the danger of pipeline damage which may cause fire or loss of a vessel's buoyancy. In any case of pipeline damage mariners risk prosecution.
