CAUTION 1 - QUALITY OF BATHYMETRIC DATA:
The Quality of data (M_QUAL) area(s) in this cell and their Category of Zone of Confidence (CATZOC) levels are estimated. The CATZOC attribute of M_QUAL is considered to have uniform quality across the data area. Mariners are cautioned that all M_QUAL areas and CATZOC levels are generalized and caution is advised when navigating near the limits of these areas, particularly for nearshore navigation or voyage planning.

POSITIONS:
This cell has been positioned on the WGS-84 Datum through the use of a Rectified Ortho-photo.

ANCHORAGE NOTE:
Vessels may only anchor in charted anchorages as designated by the Dominican Republic Naval Authority. See Sailing Directions. Mariners should contact local authorities for more detailed information.

CAUTION 2:
Lights in Haiti have been reported extinguished or unreliable and buoys are frequently out of position.

CAUTION 3 - OIL AND GAS PIPELINES
Mariners are advised not to anchor or trawl in the vicinity of pipelines. Gas from a damaged pipeline could cause an explosion, loss of a vessel's buoyancy or some other serious hazard. Pipelines are not always buried and their presence may effectively reduce the charted depth.

TIDAL INFORMATION:
Refer to Admiralty Total Tides Program for the latest information.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Consult National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Pub. 147, Sailing Directions, for important supplemental information.
