The IMO-Vega Database of core IMO requirements, new version

The IMO-Vega Database is a powerful database, an updated version, which includes historical data and benefits from a sophisticated search function.

It includes up-to-date texts of core IMO requirements (including IMDG Code, SOLAS, MARPOL and IAMSAR Manual, Load Line conventions and other conventions) as well as pollution prevention and safety-related documents. IMO-Vega is a searchable database of the regulation text of the codes such as ISM, ISPS, 2000 HSC Code, IBC Code, and MARPOL Annexes I, II, V, VI and the NOx Code concerning Electronic Record Books, and MARPOL Annex II concerning cargo residues and tank washings of persistent floating products have been amended. Further, the ESP Code and the IMSBC Code and the carriage requirements of the IBC Code have been replaced.

Also, several guidelines have been introduced or revised. Additionally, when IMO requirements due to the size are presented as multiple documents, these documents are supplied with links to content inside the specific requirements, for easier navigation. Forthcoming amendments to the mandatory conventions and codes are highlighted in green.
