The ITU Maritime publications are issued by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in accordance with Article 20 of the Radio Regulations (RR).

The conditions of the mandatory carriage requirements for these publications are stipulated in the Appendix 16 to the ITU Radio Regulations.
Starting in 2025, all ITU Maritime Service Publications are available in a digital format.
Digital Version
Publications are accessible through a desktop application distributed online. This version is designed for vessels that have periodic internet access. Allows users to download and update digital publication content via the Internet and to access content while offline, without the need for a physical copy.
- Installation: Download and install initially with internet connection, ensure the itu.int URL domain is accessible.
- Usage: Once installed, the application can be used offline. The application's database can be updated when internet access is available.
- Registration: Mandatory registration is required to access the content and receive the digital certificate.
- PC Requirements: Compatible with Windows 10 or 11.
